Forsyth County man accused of stabbing roommate to death

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — Donald Griffin, 57, has been arrested in the death of Truitt Cheeley, 48, in Forsyth County.

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to reports of a stabbing at a single-wide trailer on Karr Road.

The sheriff's office says deputies found Cheeley with several stab wounds. Cheeley was transported to Northside Forsyth Hospital where he was found dead.

Investigators believe Griffin used a kitchen knife to stab Cheeley multiple times.

According to the sheriff's office, both men lived in the rented trailer with other people and had a dispute prior to the stabbing death.

Griffin is charged with Murder, and is in custody at the Forsyth County Detention Center.
