GAINESVILLE, Ga.,None — A church in Gainesville was heavily damaged late Friday night after a fire broke out.
Firefighters were called to the Harmony Hall Church on Magnum Mill Road after a neighbor reported the fire shortly after 9 p.m.
Fire investigators said the church is structurally sound but there was a lot of heat and smoke damage throughout the building.
Firefighters said it appears the fire started in the basement area. They were still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
