ATLANTA — A worker was critically injured after he became trapped under a shipping container at an Atlanta-area farmer's market on Thursday.
It happened at the Intown Farmer's Market in the 500 block of Ponce De Leon.
A spokesman for the Atlanta Fire Department said a co-worker managed to free the trapped man before rescuers got there.
Channel 2 Action News learned that the shipping container that fell on the worker was used to grow organic lettuce.
The worker's condition has not been released.
