Chief: Walmart Fire Intentionally Set

MCDONOUGH, Ga. — A fire broke out Wednesday morning at the Walmart Supercenter in McDonough, authorities said.

Channel 2 Action News reporter Darryn Moore was at the scene shortly thereafter gathering details and found out that the blaze started behind the Walmart. Firefighters said it appears someone intentionally set fire to a bunch of pallets and recyclable cardboard stored behind the building.

It happened in the 100 block of Willow Lane in Henry County.
