LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Fire investigators say a boiler caused a fire at Gwinnett County Jail. The fire broke out at about 6:30 a.m. Sunday, authorities said. Investigators said a mechanical malfunction with the boiler sparked the fire. They said the boiler was used to heat the building and prepare food for the jail. Authorities said they have taken care of a plan to feed the inmates at the jail. No one was injured in the incident, according to firefighters.
