Big Tex Decatur hosts Decatur's largest outdoor cocktail party Nov. 2

ATLANTA — Big Tex Decatur and sister restaurants, Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q and Smith's Olde Bar, invite football fans to the third annual “Decatur’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party” on Saturday, November 2, 2013 in celebration of the University of Georgia vs. University of Florida yearly matchup. Sponsored by Pacifico, this all-day and night event proves that you don't have to be in Jacksonville to cheer on your favorite team!

The time honored tradition of the World's Largest Cocktail Party that surrounds this tense matchup in Jacksonville, Fl. is getting the Big Tex treatment. Not only is this event FREE to the public, but there will be prizes given away to those with the best Halloween costume, a whole hog on the smoker until it runs out, and a wing eating contest at halftime. The evening will be filled with live music hand-picked by Smith’s Olde Bar. Patience Grasshopper will kick off the lineup beginning at noon followed by the Tommy Thompson band and The Sundogs. At 3:30 p.m. catch the game on the big screen, or cool off inside with nine TVs to choose from and drink specials from Pacifico. Don’t pack up when the game concludes, the Jon Harris Band and Copious Jones will continue the celebration into the night.
