ATLANTA — A tornado watch is in effect until 11 p.m. for parts of north Georgia, said Severe Weather Team 2 meteorologist Brad Nitz.
In Georgia this watch includes 11 counties: Putnam, Glascock, Greene, Hancock, Jefferson, Taliaferro, Warren, Washington, Wilkes, Morgan and Oglethorpe.
Showers and thunderstorms with a chance of severe storms are possible, too, through this evening, said Nitz.
For Monday, look for partly cloudy skies with a chance of isolated showers. Lows will dip to the mid 40s. Highs will reach the low to mid 50s.
