GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Two people were shot and killed outside a Lawrenceville movie theater Tuesday evening, police said.
Lawrenceville police captain Greg Vaughn tells Channel 2 Action News reporter Tony Thomas that this appears to be a murder-suicide.
"I heard a lady screaming and then we heard two gunshots and then we ran," said Town Center Cinemas employee Roxana Vasquez.
Lawrenceville police said they have yet to find anyone who actually witnessed the shooting but some people did hear arguing before the gunshots.
"This is possibly going to be a domestic related situation. We are not actively looking for any other suspects at this time," said the Cpt. Vaughn.
No other people were injured during the incident.
Police said they have not released the names of the two victims.
