Cruise, who is in the country filming the latest installment of the “Mission: Impossible” franchise with co-star Hayley Atwell at Birmingham’s Grand Central, needed an assist after the city’s airport could not accommodate landing the helicopter in which he and Atwell were traveling, CBS News reported.

Webb told BBC News that she was asked if her field in nearby Warwickshire could be used to land a helicopter for an unnamed “VIP who was running late.”

“I thought it would be kind of cool for the kids to see the helicopter land in the garden,” Webb told the network, adding, “[Tom Cruise] basically arrived and got out and it was like, ‘Wow.’”

According to CBS News, Cruise posed for pictures and offered Webb’s children and their friends a ride in the helicopter, which they gladly accepted, while he stayed on the ground to attend a meeting.

“It turned out to be an incredible day,” Webb told BBC News.

The seventh installment of the “Mission: Impossible” franchise, directed by Christopher McQuarrie, is slated for a May 2022 release and will also feature actors Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames and Vanessa Kirby, along with Rebecca Ferguson and Henry Czerny, the news outlet reported.

According to Reuters, production on the movie was shut down in February 2020 while filming in Italy, but shooting resumed in September of that year before relocating to London in December, CBS News reported.
