LACKAWANNA, N.Y. — The family of a late New York woman is making sure the public knows about her undying hatred of NFL quarterback Tom Brady.
According to the Buffalo News, Lackawanna resident Carole Scarsella, who died July 19, enjoyed reading Stephen King books, smoking "millions of cigarettes," and playing "Farmville" and "Candy Crush." The longtime sports fan also loved the New York Yankees and NBA star LeBron James, the newspaper reported.
However, there was one athlete she truly couldn't stand.
"She HATED Tom Brady," read her obituary, which was published Sunday.
Scarsella’s family seems pretty pleased with the tribute penned by her daughter, Norma Milholland, according to the Buffalo News.
"I'm glad she is remembered, and the people of Buffalo also share her deep-rooted hatred of Tom Brady," Scarsella's granddaughter, Aggie, tweeted Tuesday.
This is my grandma. I miss her endlessly. But I’m glad she is remembered and the people of buffalo also share her deep rooted hatred of Tom Brady. https://t.co/MYEhkTahCl

Thank you for this great article! I can’t imagine what she would say about all the attention she’s getting... but I’m sure she would love the message being passed on! https://t.co/FNJ1kvBRdA
