PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. — An emergency management employee helped deliver a baby in a gas station Tuesday as Hurricane Dorian churned off the Atlantic coast.

Putnam County Emergency Management shared that its health and safety specialist, Gene Morgante, helped deliver the baby at a gas station parking lot while waiting on Hurricane Dorian to arrive.

Putnam County can expect impacts from the storm throughout Wednesday.
