 SuperCon Fun Run –  9AM

The 2nd Annual SuperCon Fun Run is flying back to 2014 and joined forces with the Ben Cohen StandUp Foundation to raise awareness of the long-term, damaging effects of bullying and to raise funds to support those who are working to stop it.  So, put on a ridiculously awesome costume, embrace those superhuman powers and battle against those bullies with hundreds of friends at Piedmont Park.  Vendors, food, music, and entertainment included!
Melting Pot’s Mother’s Day Weekend Celebration – 12PM-4PM

Looking for a place to take mom to eat for her special day?  Melt her heart on Saturday, May 10 with a special three-course menu priced at $29, available from 12pm-4 pm ONLY.  On Sunday, May 11, they open at noon and serve the regular menu to celebrate that special lady in your life.  Locations in Atlanta, Roswell, Duluth, and Kennesaw.

Pet Expo:  Dog Days of McDonough

This FREE pet festival has a pet parade, pet costume contest, art contest, trick awards, food vendors, and kids’ events at the Heritage Park Event Center at Lake Dow in McDonough.  This event was created by the Academy of Brilliant Child Montessori School to connect with the community and raise awareness on pet adoption.

Buckhead Spring Arts & Crafts Festival - Saturday 10AM-6PM & Sunday 11AM-6PM

Join the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces as they celebrate the 5th annual Buckhead Spring Arts & Crafts Festival at Chastain Park.  This FREE event will feature 175 artists, live music, children's area, local foods and beverages and more!  Over 25,000 visitors attended last year with more expected for this year's event!

Unlike other Cirque du Soleil shows, this one is in a rock concert format without compromising Cirque's creativity.  With the show and the sheer talent behind it, you'll find that the 'King of Pop' continues to innovate and now with new generations of fans.  See the show live in Duluth at the Arena at Gwinnett Center.   Prices range from $50 to $150 each.

This music festival takes over Downtown Dawsonville on Friday and Saturday with a portion of ticket sales benefitting the "LIvi's Wish" Olivia Graham Benefit Fund.  "Livi's Wish" strives to share the story of Olivia's battle with Leukemia and bring advocacy to childhood cancer and the funding it so desperately needs.  Friday's acts will include Slippery When Wet (Bon Jovi Cover Band), Departure (Journey Cover Band), and Tres Diablos (ZZ Top Cover Band).  Saturday will feature Appetite for Destruction (Guns N Roses Cover Band), Back In Black (AC/DC Cover Band), Red White & Crue (Motley Crue Cover Band), Poison'D (Poison Cover Band), and SMAC. Shaky Knees Music Festival 

This music festival includes 28 bands of indie-folk and soul-rock music on 3 stages, plus local food and craft beer.  It’s moved to a new location at Atlantic Station this year.
