    SweetWater 420 Fest

    The 10th Annual SweetWater 420 Fest will move to its new location at Centennial Olympic Park this year.  The Earth Day event includes a music lineup on two stages including Steel Pulse, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Galactic, Dirty Heads, Eoto, Conspirator, Anders Osborne, Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers, Kung Fu, Honey Island Swamp Band, Wesley Cook, Music Matters Rock U Kids Bands: In Trouble and The Endless Energy.   Click here to see the schedule.


    Celebrate Spring 2014 – Now through April 27th, 2014

    Themed weekends at Calloway Gardens feature special activities and events for families and friends to share at Calloway Gardens.  They have a dazzling display of some 20,000 native and cultivated azaleas, plus fresh blooms of dogwoods, crabapples, daffodils, pansies, tulips, and more. 



    Hop in the Park at Atlantic Station – 1:00PM-4:00PM

    This event at Atlantic Station provides games, activities, face painting, and a visit from the Easter bunny!  Pictures can be taken with the Easter bunny in the kids department at Dillard’s. 


    Taste of Forsyth - 11:00AM-6:00PM

    The City of Cumming and invites you and your family to sample more than 25 local restaurants from the Cumming and Forsyth County area.  Who doesn’t like to eat?  What a great way to sample all your favorite restaurants for $1 - $4!   There will be a kid’s zone, free entertainment featuring Atlanta Puppet, Scott Thompson with acoustic delights, egg hunt with more than 25,000 eggs , touch-a-truck, music and more.


    Alter Bridge w/Moster Truck at the Tabernacle – 8:00PM

    Doors open at 7:00PM with show starting at 8:00PM.  General Admission - $26.50.



    Easter Sunrise Service at Stone Mountain Park –  7:00AM

    Celebrate Easter morning with the Stone Mountain Sunrise Association as they present two simultaneous, non-denominational Easter services at the top of the Mountain and at the base of the Mountain on the Memorial Lawn at 7:00AM.



    Atlanta Streets Alive –2:00PM-6:00PM

    Nearly 3 miles of streets in the West End will close to cars for biking, walking and numerous free cultural and physical activities, hosted by the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition.  Other fun includes: musical performances by 8 Music in the Park groups, an Instagram Scavenger hunt, youth basketball tournament, a Tai Chi demonstration, and more! 


    Easter Brunch at Ray’s in the City – 11:00AM

    Looking for a place to eat brunch on Easter Sunday?  If so, Ray’s in the City is serving up their Easter Buffet from 11AM-3:30PM. The price for adults is $34.95 and $17.95 for children ages 5-10.     Celebrate Earth Day – 2:00PM-4:00PM

    Join ASO Presents at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park as they celebrate Earth Day. Donate your old cell phones to Verizon Wireless for repurposing, learn about plastic pollution from local non-profit organization One More Generation, and speak with Surfrider Foundation’s Atlanta Chapter about ways we can protect the oceans. At the event, enter to win the “Best Seats in the House” to the Jack Johnson concert on June 3rd– a pair of tickets to watch the show from the stage!


    Easter Brunch & Egg Hunt – Lake Lanier Islands Resort – 11:00AM-3:00PM

    Welcome back the sun and the bright colors of the Spring with the Easter Celebration Package. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, join our Easter Bunny in a delicious Easter Brunch Buffet for two adults.
