SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — A Sandy Springs teenager has been charged in a deadly crash.
Investigators said 19-year-old Cirilo Contreras lost control of his BMW and hit a tree on Lake Forrest Drive on May 22. A passenger, 19-year-old German Santana Uriostegui, was killed.
Two girls, aged 14 and 16, and an 18-year-old passenger were also injured in the crash but will be OK.
Contreras was charged with vehicular homicide and DUI.
He was denied bond.
