Much as Republicans targeted Hillary Clinton repeatedly at their convention, Democrats used the third night of their gathering to blast Donald Trump on a whole series of issues, imploring voters to reject the Republican nominee for President.
“Donald J. Trump, your words have been hostile, they have been bigoted and insulting,” said Rep. G.K. Butterfield (D-NC), the chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus.
“You are not qualified to serve as President of the United States,” Butterfield said to cheers from delegates, accusing Trump of painting a picture of “gloom and doom.”
