VILLA RICA, Ga. — Villa Rica police are looking for a panhandler who assaulted a woman who was trying to help him.
Investigators said the man was asking for gas money on the ramp from Interstate 20 at Liberty Road just before 11 p.m. Monday.
The woman said she offered him a ride to a gas station to buy him fuel.

"As they drove toward the gas station, he suddenly grabbed her and forced her to drive to a secluded area," said Lt. Keith Shaddix of the Villa Rica Police Department.
The woman said the man beat and sexually assaulted her.
She managed to give police a vague description of the man.
Police hope other drivers may have seen him late Monday night and can provide a better description. Anyone with information is asked to call the Villa Rica Police Department.
