OREGON — Its face almost made him be put down, but now it’s saving his life.
Picasso the dog was born with a deformed face, his upper jaw is misaligned giving him an almost comical look.
The pit bull-corgi mix was scheduled to be euthanize at a high-kill Oregon animal shelter before a rescue group stepped in and took in Picasso and his brother, according to KVAL-TV.
After photos of Picasso hit the Luvable's website, the group was flooded by animal lovers looking to adopt him, according to KVAL-TV.

Veterinarians say Picasso has nothing to be worried about, the only thing bothering him is an upper tooth that’s digging into his lower jaw.
"He should not be in any kind of pain. The only thing that's going on is he has a tooth that's digging into the bottom of his mouth because it's not where it should be," Liesl Wilhardt, Luvable Dog Rescue's executive director told KVAL-TV.
Picasso and his dog will be put up for adoption, together, next month.
