ATLANTA — A MARTA spokesperson confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that the train system was experiencing problems Monday morning.
There was no rail service between the Hamilton E. Holmes station and the King Memorial station just before 7 a.m., according to MARTA spokesperson Lyle Harris.
MARTA is running bus service from Hamilton E. Holmes and the Five Points station.
Fire crews are on the scene at the Midtown station after reports of smoke in the tunnel.
Service has also been delayed between Lindbergh and Five Points rail stations, and customers should expect to experience 15 to 20 minute delays.
At 8:30 a.m., MARTA was running limited service on the Blue/Green lines. Customers should expect to experience delays.
