COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Gunshots at a Cobb County apartment complex prompted one woman to run to help the shooting victim.
Police in Smyrna said a man shot another man at the Hickory Lake Apartment complex Wednesday evening.
"He just told me he was going to pass out and I just told him to turn over so he could put pressure on his wound," said witness Simone Chase.
Police took the suspected gunman into custody. His name has not been released.
The victim was taken to Kennestone Hospital in serious condition.
There is no word on what led to the shooting.
