DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Officials say a man tried to swim across a lake to evade federal agents.
DeKalb police, fire and emergency management were called to Lehigh Lake in south DeKalb County for what was originally deemed a possible drowning.
Federal agents were reportedly attempting to serve a warrant when the man jumped into the lake, which is in a neighborhood off Flakes Mill Road.
The man was arrested after trying to swim away.
It is not known what the man was wanted for.
