UPS rips the runway in limited edition collection for New York Fashion Week

NEW YORK, NY. — UPS isn’t just delivering packages, they’re serving looks at this year’s New York Fashion Week.

The shipping company is back on the runway with a limited-edition apparel and merchandise collection from Sept. 9 through Sept. 12.

The latest collection, “UPS x Awake”, was designed by Angelo Baque, creative director and founder of Awake NY.

The profits from the collection, with an additional $50,000 in grants, will help support scholarship programs for the future generation of Latinx fashion designers and entrepreneurs at the High School for Fashion Industries.

The company says they’re committed to boosting diverse-owned small businesses with the funding and resources need to be successful and grow. The launch will help accelerate funding and strengthen Latinx representation in the fashion world.

UPS debuted their first-ever collection at NYFW to help champion In The Blk, a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting emerging Black fashion brands.
