ATLANTA — Channel 2 Action News has learned that a police chase resulted in a crash on I-75 south that had all lanes blocked at Northside Drive.
Georgia State Patrol officials said the police chase started on I-75, beginning at Mt. Paran Road. A trooper was chasing a white Jeep Cherokee, which ended up colliding with several cars on I-75 at Northside Drive.
Officials said the suspect fled on foot from the scene and a search is still underway.
The crash caused major delays ahead of the evening commute, Triple Team Traffic reported.

Only the HOV lane remains blocked.
Drivers are urged to take U.S. 41 as an alternate route.
