DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County police are investigating two-car accident that killed three people at the intersection of Lithonia Industrial Blvd. and Marbut Rd.
Witnesses at the scene says a white Mercedes SUV carrying only the driver ran a stoplight and collided with a burgundy colored car carrying 2 women and a man.
The man and two women were killed. Police say the man's body was thrown 25-30 yards from the vehicle.
Witnesses told Channel 2's Steve Gehlbach the driver of the SUV tried to leave the scene in a pick up truck, but he was restrained by witnesses until police arrived.
