“So yesterday, they kind of canceled my flight,” Artis said. “They told me, literally while I was at TSA that my flight was being canceled.”
Artis said airline officials have also suddenly told her that she can’t bring her dog on the flight.
“It’s been a whirlwind,” Artis said. “I’ve been back and forth in here for the past two days.”
Traveler Mengesha Lemma said he just got notified about 45 minutes ago that his flight to Boston is leaving four hours late.
“I guess it’s a holiday,” Lemma said. “Chaotic, people traveling.”
He said the whole thing is frustrating.
“You make plans, you want to be there at a certain time and its delayed,” Lemma said. “Yeah it’s a little frustrating.”
Artis finally decided to just drive to New Orleans.
