• Suspect sketch released in violent home invasion

FOREST PARK, Ga. - Forest Park police released a sketch of a man involved in a violent home invasion.

Officers said he is one of two gunmen who broke into a home on Burks Road, forcing an elderly couple and their grandson into a bedroom.

Police said the men stole electronics, jewelry and video game equipment.

    Fortunately, no one was injured.

The couple has decided to move to a senior facility due to the home invasion.

"I have one 6-year-old and one 7-year-old and they don't want to come and spend the night with granddad anymore and that kind of bothered me so we're ready to go," the victim said.
