ATLANTA - A suspect connected with several recent burglaries in the East Atlanta area was arrested this weekend.

Authorities told Channel 2 Action News that 24-year-old Antoine Brown was arrested in DeKalb County.

Atlanta police say they worked alongside DeKalb County officers to make the arrest.

They say Brown has been terrorizing people who live in East Atlanta for about a month and a half.

On Oct. 28, Brown was caught on camera breaking into a car on Flat Shoals Road, rummaging through it and then stealing it, according to police.

Police say the video was so clear, they were able to identify him immediately.

"He's already a known perpetrator to us. So when our investigators looked at the video and compared notes, (they realized) 'Oh, this guy, we arrested him last month.' So that's essentially what happened in this case," said Carlos Campos with Atlanta police.

Police say they have linked him to at least four crimes, but believe he may be connected to even more.
