Surveillance footage released in Kendrick Johnson case

VALDOSTA, Ga. — The attorney for the family of a high school student found dead at his school gym has released hours of new video connected to the investigation.

Seventeen-year-old Kendrick Johnson was found dead, rolled up in a wrestling mat at Lowndes County High School.

Some of the footage from the dozens of cameras in and around the Valdosta school's gym shows Johnson walking inside.

Johnson's family suspects he was murdered. The Lowndes County Sheriff's Office initially declared the death accidental, but U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Georgia Michael Moore said there will be a formal review of the case.
