Store employee locked in bathroom during CVS robbery

Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at a Cherokee County CVS Saturday morning.

CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — According to sheriff’s officials, deputies responded to the CVS on Bells Ferry Road across from the BridgeMill subdivision in Canton.

They say a clerk was opening the store when a black man dressed in black pants, a black coat, brown shoes, white gloves and a ski mask entered the store.

The suspect had a gun in his waistband and stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the store, along with other personal items from the clerk.

The suspect then locked the clerk in a bathroom and left the store, authorities said.

The suspect’s image was captured on security cameras. His height is estimated at 5 feet 6 inches. If anyone has any information related to this incident, they should call 911, police said.
