Reward for missing Gwinnett County man now at $50,000

ATLANTA — The reward for information leading to a missing Gwinnett County man has been increased to $50,000.

Kelly Nash vanished three weeks ago and his disappearance has baffled police and his family.

Nash, 25, was last seen at his house off Buford Dam Road on Jan. 5.

Alan Nash, Kelly's father, told Channel 2's Tony Thomas that there's no doubt in his mind that Kelly is alive.

"Fifty thousand dollars is a lot of money to a lot of people, and I'm hoping it will ring a bell to someone," Nash said. "When it comes to finding your son, you do what it takes."

Teams of volunteers have canvassed the woods and posted fliers across Gwinnett County. A tip line has received no leads.

Nash's girlfriend said he wasn't home when she woke up. Nash left behind a wallet with cash, his keys and his truck, which is still parked outside the home.

Gwinnett County investigators say there are no signs of foul play and they have no new information in the case. Anyone with information is urged to call Gwinnett Police at 770-513-5300.
