RECALL: Touchless kitchen faucets pose fire hazard

ATLANTA — Touchless kitchen faucets sold exclusively at Home Depot are being recalled due to fire and burn hazards.

Both Glacier Bay and Schon brand touchless kitchen faucets that allow the user to waive a hand in front of the sensor to start and stop water flow are being recalled.

Reports have been coming in about the faucet's battery box overheating, melting or smoking. One person reported a fire in the battery box resulting in a minor burn.
