Pregnant woman speaks out about being robbed at knifepoint

SMYRNA, Ga. — Smyrna police are searching for a woman who robbed a pregnant lady at knifepoint at a Cobb County shopping mall

"It happened so fast, so quickly," the victim, who didn't want to be identified, told Channel 2's Rachel Stockman.

The victim said the suspect, a petite woman, threatened to stab her and put a knife up to her belly if she didn't hand over her purse.

"I was just thinking about my baby. That is the only thing I was thinking about. If this knife goes inside me, I don't know if the head is on the side," the victim said.

The victim said she gave her her purse, which only contained $21. The suspects tried to use her credit cards but they were declined, according the victim.

"A woman who will threaten a pregnant woman and threaten to kill a child -- I have no words for real," she said.

Police said they do not have any suspects in custody. The victim said the woman left the area in a white Honda.
