Missing runaway teen found in DeKalb County

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — According to police, Nija Paige, 13, was last seen in the 6000 block of Withering Court in Norcross on Sunday at about 2 p.m.

She was located just before 9 p.m., Gwinnett County police said.

Police described her as a black female who is approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. They said she was last seen wearing a dark blue fur-lined hoodie, blue jeans, and a dark blue shirt.

The teen does not have any money or identification on her, according to police. She lives and attends school in Atlanta.

Police said she suffers from a mental illness that requires medication, which she did not have with her when she ran away.  She was listed on the Georgia Crime Information Center as a runaway.
