Aubrey Hutchinson says a stroll down the school supply aisle at a Henry County Walmart took a disturbing turn last Wednesday.
The 16-year-old says a man started fondling himself right in front of her.
"It made me sick to my stomach that someone would actually do that," Hutchison said. “I look back over at him and he has everything out; like you see everything and I tell my mom 'Hurry up. We have to get off of this aisle.'”
The teen’s mother said she was angry.
"I was angrier than I was distraught at that point," Tiffany Hutchinson said.
They said the man calmly walked away and out of the store on North Henry Boulevard.
“Part of me wanted to chase him down and attack him but I knew my daughter was with me and I didn't want to traumatize her anymore," Tiffany Hutchinson said.
Henry County Police Lt. Mike Ireland said he needs help from the public to identify the man quickly.
"For this individual to be this blatant; it is urgency for us to find this individual," Ireland said.
He said it’s especially urgent since the victim said it appeared the man planned this out.
"I think he was prepared to walk around and do that because he already had a towel with him to cover himself," the teen said.
Even more bold was his response when he overheard the teen telling her mother.
"I looked back and he was laughing. He walked away and that just made me think ‘This man doesn't care. Who else has he done it to? Who else will he do it to? And what else is he capable of doing?'" the mother asked.
