Police are investigating a carjacking and shooting at a College Park motel.
Police say a man was approached by three to four men at the Travelodge on Old National Highway early Wednesday morning.
He told officers the men demanded his car, then shot him in the stomach.
The motel manager said the victim showed up at the front office begging for help. He was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital.
Police say the men then took off in the victim’s car, which was later found at a robbery scene at a Newnan pawn shop.
Police believe the carjackers are also responsible for that robbery.
