DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Police are investigating the death of a man who was found at the bottom of a Brookhaven apartment complex's swimming pool.
Video recorded by NewChopper 2 showed the man was bound to a chair when he was found.
Pamela Hamell is still shaken up as she showed Channel 2's Matt Johnson photos of her and the victim.
A resident told Johnson the pool maintenance worker called police just after 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
"They duct taped his feet and his arms and they had a plastic bag over his head," Hamell said.
Police are waiting for autopsy results before they determine who the man was.
Hammell believes someone is responsible for the man's death and vows to stay more alert near her home.
Neighbors hope police can recover forensic evidence from the plastic bag left on the man's head or the tap used to bind the man.
