CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — UPDATE: Authorities tell Channel 2 Action News that the stolen vehicle was a 2007 white Toyota Camry. The woman is now being interviewed by detectives.
UPDATE: Channel 2's Tom Jones said the woman was found safe just before 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Police say masked gunmen robbed a woman and two friends, before taking off with one of the women at a Forest Park ATM.
According to police, a woman was in her car with the other people at the Wells Fargo ATM at 1165 Main Street when she was approached by at several armed robbers around 1:15 a.m. Witnesses say the men robbed her and then forced her into the back of her car and drove her car off.
Authorities said the car is a 2010 Toyota Camry that has damage near the front driver’s seat and the fender is held together with a rope. Police are working to learn the tag number but say it was a Georgia license plate.
Forest Park police spokeswoman Amy Hiers said the kidnap victim is a 46-year-old, “very petite” black woman, 4 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing about 100 pounds. She was wearing a white tank top and white shorts, with no shoes, Hiers said.

Ernest Stephens, who catches the bus every morning just a few feet from the ATM, bemoaned what he called a lack of security in the area during the overnight hours.
“There’s no protection here,” said Stephens, who said he learned of the earlier robbery and kidnapping on the news. “It could happen to me or anyone else.”
