• Photo of iPad lodged in front bumper goes viral

MARIETTA, Ga. - A Marietta woman says another driver’s mistake led to an iPad becoming lodged in her front bumper.

Alexa Crisa was driving down Shallowford Road in Roswell on Friday when a car turned out of a subdivision in front of her and something came flying at her car.

“And I kind of hit the brakes and stopped but I didn’t feel anything, didn’t see anything, so I went about my day,” Crisa said.

Crisa said she ran some errands, came home, parked her car and went inside. It was her father, Nick Crisa, who made the strange discovery when he came home from work.

“And I went into the house, ‘Why’s there an iPad stuck to the front bumper of the car?’” Nick Crisa said.

“I didn’t know. I mean, it was lodged so perfectly,” Alexa Crisa said.

Nick Crisa said he had to use a hammer to knock the tablet computer out of the bumper.

The iPad still worked well enough for an app to flash the owner’s name and telephone number on the screen. That’s how they were able to get the iPad back to its owner. He said he left the device on top of his car and drove off.

A picture of the iPad in Alexa Crisa’s bumper went viral with more than 1.5 million views after she posted it to her Facebook page.
