Person of interest sought in Kroger bomb hoax

HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — Police are looking for the person behind a bomb hoax involving Stockbridge Kroger stores last month.

A caller told 911 dispatchers to evacuate Kroger stores on Hudson Bridge Road and Highway 138 on Dec. 1. Police did not find any devices at the stores and are still looking for suspects.

Henry County police released a photo of a person of interest who was caught on surveillance video near one of the stores. The man in the photo was last seen at a Sunoco gas station on Highway 138. Police believe he may go by the name of Mitch.
