FANNIN COUNTY, Ga. — A Fannin County man is behind bars on charges of the sexual exploitation of children, according to the GBI.
Richard Shane Arp, 45, was arrested Wednesday and charged with three counts of sexual exploitation of children (distribution of child sexual abuse material) and one count of sexual exploitation of children (possession of child sexual abuse material).

The GBI says they received a tip about someone possessing and distributing child porn.
Their investigation led to them serving a search warrant at Arp’s home.
Investigators seized several of his digital devices and searched them. Arp was then subsequently arrested.
He is currently being held in the Fannin County Jail.
