SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — A construction worker was killed after falling at a construction site on I 285/400 Friday night.
The worker, who hasn't been identified, was working for North Perimeter Contractors on the new 285-Georgia 400 interchange
The worker was initially rescued and taken to the hospital but died Saturday.
The Georgia Department of Transportation released a statement:
"Our deepest sympathies go out to the worker’s family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. At this time, we can not provide details. We are working with the developer and project team to receive additional information."
Another worker died at the same project site in October of last year.
