• Mother with child arrested for DUI at toy store

FAYETTE COUNTY, Ga. - Peachtree City police said they arrested a woman at a toy store with her child after employees noticed her having a hard time keeping her balance at the store.

Officers were called to Shenanigan's Toys on 100 North Peachtree Parkway on Oct. 9 and found 46-year-old Celeste Ann Napier with bloodshot eyes, an odor of alcohol and slurred speech. When officers talked to Napier, they determined that she drove to the store from her house with her young daughter while under the influence.

Napier was placed under arrest and taken to the Fayette County Jail, facing charges of DUI, DUI child endangerment and drunk or disorderly conduct.

The child was picked up from the scene by her father.
