Missing 80-year-old may be traveling with his dog

VILLA RICA, Ga. — Carroll County sheriff’s investigators are looking for a missing 80-year-old man who might be traveling with his dog.

Jimmy Aaron Wilkerson was last seen with his white Maltese on May 11 at Little Vine Church Road in Villa Rica. He was wearing overalls with a blue or white shirt. Investigators said he was seen leaving in a grey 1982 Chevrolet S-10 pickup, with a camper shell. The truck bears Georgia license plate PD11EU.

Family members say Wilkerson is a heart patient with a pacemaker. He depends on insulin and has not had medication in the last 23 hours, they said.
