HART COUNTY, Ga. — Classmates and the community are mourning the loss of a 14-year-old, killed in a dirt bike crash.
David Lake Fuller was riding his Honda dirt bike down Beaver Dam Road in Hart County when he collided with a four-wheeler on Saturday, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

Fuller was thrown from the dirt bike. He was not wearing a helmet, according to state troopers.
Fuller was an 8th grader at Hart County Middle School, according to a letter from Hart Count Charter System Superintendent Jennifer Carter.

“Lake will be remembered by his teachers, friends, and administrators as having a contagious smile and an outgoing personality” Carter wrote. “He had a passion for all things outdoors and could brighten the room with is sense of humor.”
Donations to assist the family with funeral expenses can be made to The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, according to the Superintendent.
