• Medical examiner issues ruling on TomorrowWorld overdose death


    FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office has released the cause of death for a 22-year-old man at TomorrowWorld festival.
    The report cites “acute toxic effects of MDMA” as the cause of death for Connor McGinnis. It’s a synthetic psychoactive drug also known as Molly or Ecstasy.
    McGinnis was rushed to WellStar Douglas on Sept. 26 after overdosing on the drug. He was later moved to Emory University Hospital in Midtown, where he died in hospice care.
