Officials told Channel 2's Audrey Washington medics took him to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he died.
Washington learned that Wednesday afternoon, detectives found a fully loaded stolen handgun in the street exactly one block away from where the deadly shooting happened.
Washington said that gun could possibly become a key piece of evidence in this homicide investigation.
