GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — The GBI is investigating an in-custody death from Saturday morning in Stone Mountain.
Police say officers with the Gwinnett County Police Department responded to a dispute on the 5100 block of Rock Place Drive.
Investigators say the person who called police said an irate and possibly armed man was locked in his garage.
Officers got involved in an altercation with the man that became unresponsive.
According to police, the man was transported to Eastside Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
