ATLANTA — A man is dead after a high-speed crash off of Interstate 20 early Tuesday morning.
Atlanta investigators with the Accident Investigations Unit responded to an accident at the ramp of I-20 Westbound to Northbound I-75/85 at 3:15 a.m.

When they got to the ramp, they saw the car involved in the crash.
Investigators said the car was going at a high speed when the driver lost control and hit a tree after exiting the roadway.
In the photo, you can see where the front/ top of the car is smashed in.

The driver was pronounced dead on the scene by EMS services.
Police have not released the driver’s name at this time.
