COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Jamarcus McClure, 20, has been arrested in connection with the shooting of a 12-year-old in Cobb County.
Just before midnight Tuesday, the boy was shot outside of Main Event Entertainment in Cobb County.
The busy strip mall, located near Cobb Parkway and Cumberland Boulevard, houses an AMC theater and several restaurants.
When police got to the scene, they found the child with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Paramedics rushed him to a nearby hospital.

Police have identified two vehicles involved in the parking lot shooting. Police have only arrested McClure at this time. There may be other suspects in the future, as this is an ongoing investigation.
Channel 2 reporter Audrey Washington spoke with a representative for Main Event Entertainment. She was told that neither the victim nor the shooter were guests of the establishment.
