ATLANTA, Ga. - The Mega Millions jackpot rolled over to $119 million after no players matched all six numbers drawn Tuesday night, and if that’s not a big enough prizes for you, the jackpot is about twice that size for Wednesday’s Powerball multi-state lottery.
The Mega Millions numbers drawn Tuesday were 2, 12, 18, 54 and 56, and the Mega Ball was 1.
The drawing for Wednesday’s $245 million Powerball can be seen live on WSB-TV just before the Channel 2 Action News Nightbeat at 11 p.m. The next Mega Millions drawing is Friday night.
The Powerball jackpot has been climbing since August 10, Georgia Lottery officials said.
If a single player matches all six numbers in Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing and that player chooses the cash option, he or she will receive a one-time payout of approximately $136 million before taxes.
Meanwhile, lottery officials announced Tuesday that a Powerball ticket sold at a Publix Super Market in Roswell matched the first five numbers in the August 28 drawing, and is worth $1 million.
