ATLANTA,None — Atlanta police are searching for two men who shot a locksmith and took off.
The shooting happened on a sidewalk along Memorial Drive in southeast Atlanta early Monday.
Police said the locksmith was called to the area to unlock a day care van which he didn’t know was stolen. When the locksmith arrived, he was shot in the stomach, and the shooters took off, police said.
The locksmith ran to a BP gas station across the street for help, police said. A gas station clerk called 911 and the victim was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in serious but stable condition, police said.
